Privacy & Cookies
The short version: nothing about your visit is collected.
No accounts. No tracking. No cookies. No ads. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers, and asks for nothing about you.
What is stored
The only data the book keeps is stored in your own browser, on your device, using localStorage: your reading position, any passages you flag, your type-size, spacing, and colour-theme preferences, and your answers in the short welcome. None of it leaves your device, and none of it is ever sent to a server. Clearing your browser’s site data erases all of it.
Hosting & logs
The site is served as static files by a hosting provider (Netlify), which may keep standard, short-lived server access logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and to keep the service running. These are the host’s ordinary operational logs, not analytics created for or used by this book.
Offline & installation
The site is a Progressive Web App. With your browser’s help it caches its own files so it can be read offline and installed to your home screen. That cache lives on your device and can be removed at any time from your browser settings.
